Ķurmrags

One of the most prominent promontories on the Vidzeme coast of the Gulf of Riga. In the vicinity of Ķurmrags in the sea, as a result of waves and ice, large piles of boulders and steep shores consisting of sandstone rocks have formed. Remains of the old lighthouse of Ķurmrags - the navigation lighthouse, which was located at the top of the steep bank about fifteen years ago, collapsed towards the sea.
